university graduates with different backgrounds (computer scientists, engineers, biologists, biotechnologists, medical doctors etc) who are eager to deepen their understanding in these important and fast developing fields heavily depending on advanced Information Technology skills.<\/p>\n The Master\u2019s Program \u201cData Science and Information Technologies (DSIT)\u201d is by its very nature intensely interdisciplinary. Its objective is to deepen the knowledge and strengthen the skills of its students with an emphasis in Data Science, Big Data, AI, applied mathematics, statistical methods, as well as their application in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Data Science, and the Life Sciences in general. The program focuses on subjects related to the management, processing, analysis, and software for massive or complex data, on which machine learning and AI can be based, as well as on the development of mathematical models, algorithms, statistical analysis, image analysis methods, and tools for bioinformatics, computational and systems biology, in the era of heterogeneous -omics big data aiming to improve human health.<\/p>\n The goal of the program,s to provide top-quality education in Informatics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
